Distant Journey

Distant Journey (ディスタント・ジャーニー) is an SAO side story written by Kawahara Reki that was released with volume 1 of the Japanese Limited Edition Blu-Rays and DVDs of Alicization. Kirito and Eugeo have set off on a journey from Rulid Village to the central city of Centoria in order to rescue their kidnapped childhood friend, Alice. As the day for the entrance examination to the Imperial Swordcraft Academy draws near, the two travellers arrive at the 《Bilzen Inn》. Several years have passed since the inn went out of business and still lacks an owner till this day-- Knowing this, Kirito pushes the reluctant Eugeo into spending a night at the inn. When Kirito awoke from slumber that night, he saw a girl with transparent limbs--! "Mister...... Are you... not scared of me?" Who is the 《ghost》 that suddenly came to Kirito and Eugeo?

Ordeals of Kirito

Ordeals of Kirito (キリトの受難, Kirito no Junan) is an original SAO audio drama story featured in the Accel World + Sword Art Online Drama CD.

One day, Yui mischievously books Kirigaya Kazuto (Kirito) on three consecutive dates with the heroines of Sword Art Online: shopping for swimsuits with his sister/cousin Suguha, a cosplay contest with Shinozaki Rika (Lisbeth) and Ayano Keiko (Silica), and a zombie shooting attraction with Asada Shino (Sinon). Can Kazuto complete this difficult quest?




Aincrad Night of Kirito

Sword Art Online Aincrad Night of Kirito (ソードアート・オンライン　キリトの#千夜一夜物語#(アインクラッドナイト)) is a spinoff story based on Hollow Fragment.

When Kirito took on a random quest on the 76th floor to kill time, he didn't expect to be transported to a bedroom and find himself wearing pyjamas. To his surprise, the One Thousand and One Nights quest summons various girls that he is acquainted with, all of whom are tricked into thinking that they have to share a bed with Kirito to complete the quest. The true goal of the quest, however, is for Kirito to survive till morning without getting into bed with them. If he fails, there will be a penalty for the girls...

Kirito's Gun Gale Wars

Sword Art Online Kirito's Gun Gale Wars (ソードアート・オンライン　キリトの#千夜一夜騒動#(ガンゲイルウォーズ)) is a manga spinoff story based on Fatal Bullet. Having won a photon sword in a mini game, Yui decided that it would be the perfect gift for Kirito. However, convinced that a present is more impactful when it's delivered as a surprise, Yui enlisted the help of Asuna and the other girls. The girls would face Kirito in battle during a new GGO event and create an opportunity for the perfect surprise: using slime guns to blind him during the fight, thus allowing Yui to present her gift to the unsuspecting Kirito just as he regains his vision. However, Yui did not foresee one thing: that her surprise gift will have to compete in impactfulness with Kirito's mastery at getting himself into all kinds of ecchi situations...

Lycoris manga

Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris (ソードアート・オンライン アリシゼーション リコリス) is an incomplete, open-ended manga adaptation of the eponymous SAO game. The manga was axed after its 16th chapter, ending the story after the second arc of the game.

While on their way to Zakkaria from Rulid Village, Eugeo and Kirito encounter a noble girl named Medina battling monsters on the highway. Medina Orthinanos is a noble whose family was banished to the borderlands due to being considered defects by the empress of Norlangarth. Having lost her father in an accident, Medina seeks to become an Integrity Knight to clear her family's besmirched name. Little did she know that the two boys she encountered on the road to Zakkaria shared her goal of becoming Integrity Knights but would one day go up against the Axiom Church and kill the supreme ruler of the church...

Lycoris Drama CD/VN - Another Heroine Inverter

Another Heroine Inverter is an original Drama CD story that came with the Limited Edition of Lycoris in Japan. Due to popular demand, the producers also commisioned a visual novel rendition of the Drama CD story.

The Drama CD follows the original SAO gameverse heroines and Yui as they attempt to find a way to help Kirito and the heroines from the main series in Underworld. Yui and Strea managed to find an access point in Gun Gale Online that would allow them to reach Underworld... but the access point isn't big enough for all of them, so they'll have to decide who gets to go... with a best girl competition!
