32/33, also known as the cake timeline (cakeverse) or crab timeline (crabverse), is an alternative Sword Art Online universe where Eugeo and Kirito never broke the Taboo Index at the Swordcraft Academy. This universe was originally created by series author Kawahara Reki as part of his self-published short story series called Material Editions. These Material Editions were later turned into a series of Blu-Ray/DVD bonus short stories for the Alicization anime and even got new side stories set in this timeline.

If You Were Here

If You Were Here is an Alicization what-if story, answering the question of what would have happened if Raios and Humbert hadn't been around to force Eugeo and Kirito into breaking the Taboo Index. In this timeline, Eugeo and Kirito graduate from the Swordcraft Academy, win the Four Empires Unification Tournament, and become Integrity Knight apprentices at the Central Cathedral. However, Quinella (Administrator) and Cardinal are still at odds with each other. Can Kirito find a way to resolve their century-old conflict and bring the two to work together?

The story was released as a bonus for the limited edition versions of the 8th BD/DVD volume of the Alicization cour 1-2 Blu-Rays/DVDs and is based on Material Editions 28 and 29, with 50 pages of original content not part of the MEs.

If You Wish It is a continuation of If You Were Here, an Alicization what-if story, answering the question of what would have happened if Raios and Humbert hadn't been around to force Eugeo and Kirito into breaking the Taboo Index.

Now that Kirito has convinced Quinella and Cardinal to resolve their issues over cake, Kirito's the one stuck with the task of coming up with a new cake each week or he and Eugeo will be turned into plates! While trying to solve a mystery on why his new cake keeps being burnt to a crisp, Kirito will also need to get started on stopping an imminent war with the Dark Territory... could there be someone in the Dark Territory interested in a peaceful resolution to the conflict?

With Lipia Zancale rescued from a horde of gargoyles and requesting an audience with top-ranked members of the Axiom Church, Kirito will have to bake more cakes to ensure that their dialogue doesn't go awry! In the meantime, Charlotte realises that something is off about Quinella...
