[Project Announcement] Ordinal Scale manga v5

Well, now that Nguyen is done with his exams, progress on the Ordinal Scale manga has skyrocketed... heck, I'm starting to barely keep up with him now... We released chapter 14 just today and the final chapter of volume 4, Extra Chapter 2 (Hopeful Chant adaptation) is already typeset and waiting for QC from Mtt... Seeing as I just finished the preliminary translation for chapter 15, it's about time we officially announced that we'll be finishing the project to the very end, seeing as Yen Press is avoiding it for some inexplicable reason...

This volume consists of 4 chapters: chapters 15-17 + another Hopeful Chant chapter. The main story covers the remainder of the movie (boss rampage in the concert, battle against AINCRAD, and the aftermath), while the Hopeful Chant chapter covers midway through part 5 of Hopeful Chant, up to the point where the rescue party departs from Jaileum. And as you can surmise, the fifth volume does not finish the HC adaptation, despite this being the final volume. However, an additional chapter of Hopeful Chant, which will hopefully finish up the adaptation, will be published on Comic Walker instead and kept there without a time limit. As in the volume 4 chapters, volume 5 also has some short bits of original content sprinkled around to better explain certain scenes.

Since the Lycoris project is nearly ready for another release, we'll probably be delaying the release of Ordinal Scale's Extra Chapter 2 for another week or so to let Lycoris have some time in the spotlight as well.
