Seeing as the 10th of April marks the birthday of best SAO cupcake, we decided that this is the perfect time to release that Lycoris chapter we didn't manage to finish QCing a couple of weeks back (it would have been even better to release chapter 14, since it's 90% Eugeo-centric, but we'll have to make do with what we've got). Especially because we'd like to take the moment to congratulate the typesetter of this manga on his own birthday as well. Happy birthday, Celest! Watch out so that the 410 doesn't getcha!

This chapter continues adapting the Deusolbert Desert region story from the game: the gang sets out in search of giants and encounter Zacza! However, unlike the original story of the game, this chapter decides to bring up Quinella's plot much earlier in the story with a slight detour to the Central Cathedral for an original scene of Cardinal investigating the Cathedral Cedar. Deusolbert and the FizLin duo as well as Fanatio and Renly also get a few panels' worth of original deban. Also, unlike in the game itself, Medina doesn't rush off to the Southern Corridor right away; instead she brings the Lost Children of Vecta to the Zacza battle first!

Cardinal uses archaic words in grammar in her speech. This is taken into account by sprinkling her lines with a few old-timey words and a pinch of Shakespearean English grammar.
