By now, it's pretty much become a tradition that we release a Lycoris chapter at this time of the month... and it seems we're not breaking that tradition this month either! I honestly would have preferred to release this chapter last month, since this one is a much better fit for Eugeo's birthday, but oh well...

This chapter continues adapting the Deusolbert Desert region story from the game - specifically, it adapts the Zacza battle... though "adapts" might be too strong of a word, since the whole battle is redone from scratch to feature Eugeo as the main protagonist. So, instead of Kirito and co vs Zacza, we get Eugeo one-man-army vs Zacza instead. As you might realise by now, this chapter mostly goes original to put the spotlight on Eugeo's character development... and for some randome callbacks to most of the Underworlder cast members. The artist even gives us a glimpse of how he sees the future of Lycoris Underworld with Eugeo's survival. In the mean time, Medina's plot is being accelerated, as she already encounters Hersyrian and seemingly splits off from the gang early, instead of taking part during the events of the Southern Corridor and only encountering Hersyrian in the northern empire.

Meanwhile, if all goes according to plan, next week should feature the grand debut of our Canon of the Golden Rule manga project.👀 ~~The infodumps in the first chapter really need to be nerfed though.~~

Translation (choice/nuance) comments:

Page 2: "Ium" is the Dark Territorian term for "humans".
Page 2, 4: "You puny Iums" - Zacza uses the derogatory pluralising suffix "-domo" with "Iums". I decided to translate this phrasing as "you puny" to emphasise that Zacza sees himself as superior to any human. On page 4, Zacza is instead using 小さい (tiny) for "puny".
Page 7, 8: Zacza uses the word 兄弟 (kyoudai, the equivalent of "male sibling") for "brother" in this instance. The word doesn't specify whether it's referring to one brother or multiple brothers, nor whether he's referring to an older or younger brother. I went with the assumption that he's referring to a specific brother, since no other brothers are referenced specifically, while the latter half of the chapter uses 兄弟 and 兄 interchangeably, implying that it's referring to a specific individual.
Page 12: Zacza uses the suffix ～如き (-gotoki, lit. "the likes/as if") for "lowly". It's used in a derogative sense of "the likes of you" in this case.
Page 12, 24: In these instances, Zacza uses the word 兄者 (anija), which is an abbreviation for an archaic respectful term for an elder brother.
Page 17: I presume Eugeo is implicitly referring to his battle against Bercouli in this case, though it is just my interpretation, seeing as the original text doesn't explicity specify whether Eugeo's using singular or plural.
Page 24: The text in Zacza's second bubble is written entirely in hiragana, which could be implying that Zacza is having trouble forming words. Though the following bubbles return to using proper kanji.
Page 24: The second and third instance of brother on this page is just "兄" (ani), the generic word for "older brother".
Page 25: The first instance of "brother" is 兄者, then 兄弟, then 兄. Zacza sure loves spamming synonyms...
Page 25: Midway through the third panel, Zacza's speech begins to use katakana instead of hiragana for particles and suffixes. This implies that Zacza's speech starts sounding abnormal (broken or inhuman).
Page 25: "Dil" is a representation of the broken sound made when a Fluctlight collapses/implodes. I decided to use "implode" for "collapse", because I feel it better captures the essense of what's happening during the process (self-destruction from the inside).
Page 29: "Esteemed" is a translation for the honorific 様 (-sama), since I prefer not to leave honorifics untranslated when they're used with titles.
