Well, today marks the start of the 7th week of quarantine for me. Stores are finally allowed to reopen with some conditions, but uni's decided to have us finish our semester from our homes nonetheless. Guess that also means that I'll be doing my final exam from home too? And seeing how our computerised exams always have some hiccups... I'm not really looking forward to seeing what shit happens this time...
Anyway, this chapter covers a little scene with Eiji and YUNA, Kirito's encounter with White Yuuna in Aincrad, the karaoke scene, and a short boss battle scene (1:18:15-1:24:16 from the movie).
The manga apparently gives more context to the bike ride scene on why Kazuto decided to change his route through a message that wasn't present in the movie, and some of Kazuto's internal monologue. It also has more monologues for the Aincrad scene and changes one of Yuuna's lines a bit. Karaoke scene doesn't seem to have had any changes, but the boss battle was expanded a bit with some strategising from Yui. Hey, we even got a name for the boss. Though, the manga appears to give 8,237 points less to Kirito than the movie did... but gives him a far higher rank instead (movie gave him a 47194th rank after counting the new points, instead of 1325th). Next time, we're getting the battle against Waheela and Kirito's meeting with Eiji after the battle.
